The Union Hotels strive to remain the best hotels among Ljubljana hotels and use our business activity to define the home market hotel standards and co-create the social life of the capital of Slovenia.
The Union Hotels group comprises four hotels (the Grand Hotel Union, the Grand Hotel Union Business, the Hotel Lev and the Central Hotel) located in the very centre of Ljubljana. Altogether we offer 574 elegantly furnished hotel rooms of the various categories and 30 conference halls and meeting rooms with modern technical equipment.

I have been managing the Grand Hotel Union for 22 years. I’m proud to say that the company has been successfully operating and growing all this time. The Union Hall has been renovated and the Central Hotel and the Lev Hotel have joined us and thus extended our stay facilities. My key task and my mission is to create a pleasant working environment for the employees and to guarantee best quality services to the guests of our hotels, restaurants, conference and banquet halls.
As head of kitchens I manage the kitchen team and develop breakfast, lunch, dinner as well as gala dinner menus. I devote myself to preparing menus for various events which always reflect customer demand and spice them up with my long-time experience. I kindly invite you to taste our rich culinary offer and let yourself be seduced by it.
Dealing with guests and clients, who encounter the challenge to organize a memorable event, make an impression, host a high-level visit or surprise their partner with a special weekend getaway, is my top priority. Coping with all these responsibilities is truly satisfying and reflects on the guests’ overall positive experience.
At work I am driven by the good planning and the continuous search for improvements. My job is to expect the unexpected – to prepare everything for the guests prior to their arrival and recognise their requests before they do. With fair relations, courteous communication, honesty and good internal coordination we can comply with all reasonable requests. We simply offer more.
