On the 20 July, the sold-out Grand Hotel Union’s hall provided the venue for a musical spectacle featuring one of the most prominent Italian chamber ensembles, I Solisti Aquilani, and guests. The guest appearances included the well-known American stage and screen actor, director and producer, John Malkovich, who garnered a great deal of attention and enthusiasm.

When Rog’s Pony bicycle, one of last century’s legends, made its comeback to the cycle lanes of Slovenian towns, Union Hotels decided to team with those that devote special attention to the Slovenian tradition. On Monday, 5th of June, Grand Hotel Union hosted a relaxed after-work get-together at the modern restaurant Atelje, where one can enjoy a top culinary experience, created by a team led by the young and innovative chef Jorg Zupan.

With March 2017 we became the owners of Ljubljana’s famous textile shop Modna hiša (Fashion house).

As part of our socially responsible activities, which we devote a lot of attention to, the company Union hoteli d.d. has been a proud sponsor of the Slovenian Olympic team since 1993. With the aim of providing our athletes with further support and fostering the spread of Olympic values in Slovenia and elsewhere, we have signed another agreement with the Olympic Committee of Slovenia, committing to a partnership cooperation for the next 4 years, until the end of the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

Herring Feast is a premium culinary event of the sea and fresh water culinary delights, which has been held at the Grand Hotel Union from the beginning of 20th century. This year the tradition of Herring Feast will be captured in the special menus prepared by Union chefs at Restaurant Union, Restaurant and bar Atelje, Restaurant Pri Levu and Central kitchen.

Events by RadoSt began their year in grand style – with sparkling wines in The Grand Hotel Union’s stunning main hall. On 17th of February, Union hosted more than 600 visitors, who had the opportunity to taste various sparkling wines among with culinary delights prepared by hotel chefs.
