Locally-Grown Lettuce
In addition to the cosy ambience of Union Hotels, are guests are pampered with the food of the highest quality, which includes lettuce from our own garden in the vicinity of the popular Slovenian town of Bohinj in the NW of Slovenia. An abundance of dishes consisting of leafy greens that have been harvested earlier in the same day they are offered on our à la carte menu is a much appreciated new feature of Union Hotels’ restaurants and a welcome addition to our wide variety of dishes and beverages enjoyed by even the most demanding of our guests.
Although integrated vegetable production has been known in the Western world for quite some time, this type of cultivation is still much of a novelty in Slovenia. Hence, at Union Hotels, we are especially proud to be able to say that in addition to ever-fresh vegetables we offer produce of only the best quality, produced in a health- and environment-friendly way.
