Last week the Grand Union Hall was the scene of the Winter Festival and three one-of-a-kind musical events. In collaboration with the Ljubljana Festival we hosted world-renowned artists, which gave the audience and exceptional musical experience.

Each New Year brings not only a new calendar, but also all sorts of new plans, new goals and new beginnings. Thinking ahead to the future, the Union Hotels always look back, remembering with gratitude all those who were an indispensable part of our many one-of-a-kind stories throughout the past year.

Union hoteli d.d. have been awarded the gold credit rating of the highest order, according to the Bisnode Rating Agency. As part of an international project, Bisnode has for several years been carrying out annual financial analyses of company operations and awarding credit ratings in 18 European countries, including Slovenia.

In January, Grand Hotel Union’s concierges became part of the world-renowned international association of professional hotel concierges “Les Clefs d’Or Austria”. The hotel’s two concierges, Blaž Sok and Gregor Žibert, will thus be the first concierges in Slovenia to proudly wear the famous crossed golden keys, the association’s symbol, and share the invaluable knowledge, experience and dedication of this esteemed association with Slovenia and its guests.

The New »Premier« rooms will be introduced in April 2018 and will feature a contemporary, open-space design for sophisticated comfort with state-of-the-art hotel amenities. The new 22 rooms were designed by a Vienna-based architecture and interior design firm BWM Architekten, endorsing classic elegance and contemporary comfort.

Meet Us at Conventa! On 24th and 25th of January, GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre will be hosting the 10th Jubilee Conventa trade show.

As a part of Hotel Lev’s ongoing plan to enhance facilities and ensure memorable stays of our guests, we are renovating the hotel’s first floor. New »Premier« rooms will be introduced and will feature a contemporary, open-space design for sophisticated comfort with state-of-the-art hotel amenities.

The first in the collection of Retro Desserts warmed up our taste buds. Now we are ready for the second revived original recipe for another classic dessert.

Modna Hiša – i.e. the Fashion House – Ljubljana’s former fashion monument, which has been owned by Union Hotels since early 2017, has a new mission. From now on, it will be a house of health and recreation.

In March, the biggest fitness centre in Ljubljana, FITCITY, is opening its doors in the Modna Hiša building.

When it comes to sweets, sometimes we just cannot get past by a bit of nostalgia.

In December at the Union Café, we introduced a new collection of desserts, to revive original recipes of the very best old classic dessert recipes.
