Afghanistan – Slovene Views

The exhibition is dedicated to Afghanistan and its rich cultural history and legacy, despite the decades of turbulent events that have transformed the country and its people profoundly since they started in the late 1970s. The exhibition features the photographs, mementoes and objects from private collections of over twenty Slovenes who travelled around Afghanistan in the early 1970s, at a time when Afghanistan was still a peaceful, open country, as well as other travellers who got to know the country in the periods after – up until the present day.
